Fishermen Make It Back to Hodeidah Province After They Were Locked up in Eritrea

The Eritrean authorities released 47 fishermen who were held as prisoners in Eritrea. On Thursday, the fishermen made it back to al-Hodeidah fishing port after spending more than five months in Eritrean prisons.
The released prisoners reported that the coalition’s warships had them kidnapped while they were in the territorial waters of Yemen, in the island of Hanish to be precise.The fishermen were practicing their job when the coalition’s ships came to take them away. Moreover, the released prisoners stressed that Eritrean authorities confiscated their equipment and tools from their boat.
Nevertheless, the fishermen were helped and welcomed by the army and Ansarullah when they arrived at Hodeidah province. The army helped the fishermen to return to their districts and villages.
