The Supreme Political Council announced in its meeting on Monday the martyrdom of the Yemeni President Saleh Al-Sammad.
The Presidential council and Sayyad Abdulmalik AL-Houthi gave their condolences to the Yemeni People and the Islamic Nation in the martyrdom of President Salah Al-Sammad, who was killed in three airstrikes, along with a number of his companions, conducted by the Saudi-led coalition.
Moreover, the Presidential Council appointed Mahdi Al-Mashat as the new President of the Presidential Council in accordance to the rules and procedures of the Council.
It also called on the masses of the great Yemeni people to attend the martyr’s funeral, declaring the national mourning for three days and placing the national flags at a half-mast for forty days.
