The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, said on Monday that the Saudi-led coalition is fighting even weddings and smiles in Yemen.

This came during a speech in the electoral festival of the district of Jbeil – Kesrouan in the compound of the martyrs of the southern suburb of Beirut, where he said: “We express our sadness and condemnation of the aggression that targeted a wedding in Yemen.”

Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah also condemned the horrific massacre that took place over the past two days in Afghanistan.

In the same context, he condemned the assassination of the Palestinian scientist Fadi al-Batsh in Malaysia, pointing out that the assassination represents the rejection of the Israeli entity of the existence of any Arab or Islamic scientist that is against its apartheid.

Regarding partnership, Sayyed Nasrallah stressed that Lebanon is based on a genuine partnership between all the Lebanese people. He pointed out that the partnership between Muslims and Christians is one of the most important factors for the establishment of Lebanon.

He said: “After the liberation of Jezzine from the Israeli occupation and customers, we asked to prevent the rise of any civilian carrying the flag of Hezbollah or the Amal movement to Jezzine so that no one says that we seek a demographic change there,” adding that any words claiming that Hezbollah seeks a demographic change in Lebanon are inflammatory and sectarian.

Nasrallah explained that experience has shown that the equation of the army, the people and the resistance is the basis of security and stability in Lebanon.

He stressed that the resistance contributed to the protection of the country from the Israel and Takfiri terrorism, pointing out that they fought in Jaroud alongside the Lebanese army in the worst circumstances and Christian residents remained in those areas.

He called on the people of Jbeil and Kesrouan to go to the Christian villages in the south to see the security and dignity of the people of those areas, considering that the resistance is part of the country’s security and economic development.

He said that any neglect of any element of Lebanese power is a loss of security and stability in Lebanon.
