The head of the Planning Committee, Samir al-Wahhabi, said that Aden is witnessing a state of great collapse in the institutions of services of water, sanitation, communications, electricity, stressing that the government departments have become dedicated to “rats, cats and their remains of food.”
Wahhabi denounced the deteriorating situation. Moreover, he said in press statement that most of the neighborhoods suffer long-term blackouts.
The water condition is similar and further worsens and so does sanitation where they lack pipes. The only source of purchase is from the commercial market.
Garbage trucks are worn out and the garbage is all over the streets for more than a week, threatening the lives of people with a disease and the environment.
