The Humanitarian Forum and the Foundation of Charity organized a press conference in which they discussed the toll of the diagnosed patients with kidney failure in Yemen.

During the conference, it was confirmed that the number of people who have kidney failure, according to World Health Organization(WHO) records, is 25000 patients throughout Yemen. Nevertheless, the number has dramatically increased during the US Saudi-led coalition aggression war on Yemen, in addition to the Saudi embargo over the past three years to present date.

The conference pointed out that thousands of people die annually due to chronic diseases in Yemen, including patients with kidney failure.

The conference also confirmed 28 out of 32 dialysis centers in all provinces are left working, most of which are threatened to stop completely because of the lack of medicines, solutions and filters for the sessions of dialysis.
