Military sources revealed, Thursday ,that the UAE forces decided to establish a military base in al-Sena area of Ma’afer district, south-west of Taiz city.
The senior military commanders in Taiz province had declared the legitimacy of the fugitive resigned president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, loyal to Riyadh, based in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, they confirmed.
The UAE forces have managed to force some of the Islah Party (Muslim Brotherhood) in the southern port city of Aden and Dalea province, to move to Taiz.
The UAE seeks to establish a military base in the strategic district of Ma’afer near to the western coast districts of Mocha and Bab al-Mandab, after it established more than five military bases in Socotra Island, the Gulf of Aden, Anad area of Lahj province, and Hadramout province.
