Report: Yemen’s Rocket Force Reveals New High-Precision Ballistic Missile

The rocket force within the Yemeni army and the popular committee have unveiled a domestically new smart ballistic missile that is known for its high accuracy in targeting its objectives, reducing collateral damage and leaving its designated target completely destroyed, this comes after more than 1300 days since the start of the Saudi-led campaign against Yemen, which has thousands of killed and wounded civilians.
The Rocket Force media bureau released a statement announcing the design of a new ”smart” short-ranged ballistic missile and solid-propellant named Badr P-1 missile, which is an upgrade of Badr-1 missile system and has a pinpoint accuracy of 3 meters.
Few hours before the announcement of the new smart Badr P-1 ballistic missile, it was tested on the al-Mostahaddeth Sudanese military camp in West coast from near the city of Hodeidah, killing and injuring dozens within the camp and destroying various military equipment.
In the statement, the rocket force said that by 2018, Yemen owns precise ballistic missiles, and in the near future, we will reveal about other systems of ballistic missiles.
Moreover, the rocket force emphasized that if it was not for the Yemeni people financial support, none of these achievements were possible and that the martyrs’ blood, most importantly al-Sammad president, who was killed by a Saudi airstrike, was their motivation to keep on going with what former President al-Sammad and Sayyed al-Houthi promised to be, the year of the ballistic missiles.
There was an exhibition of Badr P-1 ballistic missile that was attended by the president Mahdi al-Mashat and the prime minister along with many other political figures, where photos were released of the exhibition by media bureau of Yemen’s Operations Command Center.
Yemeni snipers kill five soldiers in Saudi Arabia’s Asir border region
Meanwhile, at least five Saudi soldiers have been killed when Yemeni army soldiers and fighters from Popular Committees launched an attack in Saudi Arabia’s southwestern border region of Asir in retaliation for the kingdom’s ongoing military aggression against their impoverished and conflict-plagued country.
The Houthi Ansarullah movement stated that Yemeni forces and their allies fatally shot the Saudi soldiers at Sahwa military camp in al-Rabuah region.
Saudi Arabi alongside with many other countries launched a military campaign against Yemen in March 2015, with the aim to occupy the Yemeni land and treasuries, in addition to knee the people of Yemen to the kingdom’s desires. Since then, more than 15,185 civilians, including 3,527 children and 2,277 women have been killed and a total of 23,822 civilians, among them 3,526 children and 2,587 women injured and are currently suffering from the lack of medicine, medical supplies and poor treatment due to the crippling Saudi siege, according to the statement that was released on October 15 by The Legal Center for Rights and Developments.
