The head of the United Nations ceasefire monitoring committee arrived in Hodeidah on Monday, where he immediately visited the port near the city and saw the destruction of the cranes over there. He also met with the management of the port.
After his visit to the port, the head of the United Nations committee toured the city with the security leadership of the local authority in the province, which demanded Patrick Cammaert to withdraw any military troops from the city.
The Local authorities of Hodeidah also stressed the need to halt the Saudi imposed siege in order to deliver food and medicine supplies through the port of Hodeidah in a more efficient way and to implement Stockholm agreement.
The head of the United Nations Committee addressed his first meal in one of the restaurants of the city under the hovering of Saudi-UAE military aircraft, which violates the cease-fire agreement regarding the province of Hodeidah, and embarrasses the UN ceasefire observers.
