Chinese Ambassador to Yemen: Targeting the Funeral Procession in Sana’a Is a “Foolish Act”

The Chinese ambassador, Tian Chi, denounced the massacre committed by the US-backed Saudi coalition by targeting a funeral procession, the day before yesterday, in the Yemeni capital of Sana’a.

The ambassador Chi described in a meeting with the national Yemeni in the capital Muscat, Monday evening, the Saudi fighter jets targeting a funeral procession a “foolish act.”

He points out that it is in violation of all international norms which do not permit the targeting of funerals and weddings during wars.

The Ambassador presented sincere condolences to the families of the victims of the massacre and for the Yemeni people in general.

The massacre committed by the US-backed Saudi coalition in targeting the funeral, which killed and injured hundreds, received wide Arab and international condemnations and is considered the most heinous crime in the region. Some have likened it to the Qana massacre committed by the Zionist enemy in Lebanon in 1996.
