Saudi Soldiers Killed and Injured in Taiz and Jawf

A number of Saudi mercenaries have been killed and others injured today Sunday after a failed attempt to advance in Taiz province and the targeting of their sites in Jawf province.

The Yemeni army and popular committees successfully repelled Saudi mercenaries attempting to make progress on field towards Al Manam mountain, Taiz province, military source reports.

Deaths and injuries inflicted Saudi ranks during clashes with Yemeni forces while the remaining mercenaries fled. In Jawf province, the Yemeni artillery targeted Saudi mercenary groupings in Al Adba village in Al Qhayl district, achieving direct hits.

The Yemeni army and popular committees had secured last Friday Al Dhaif mountain east of Al Waziyah district, killing and injuring several Saudi mercenaries during the operation.

Last Thursday, Yemeni forces repelled another Saudi military attempt to advance towards Al Manam region. In addition, another failed Saudi attempt to progress took place in Hayfan district, southern Taiz.
