Yemeni Forces Repel an Advance to Attempt by Saudi Soldiers in Taiz

The Yemeni army and popular committees repelled an attempt to advance by the Saudi soldiers towards Al Sayratin village in Salu district.

After violent clashes that involved various types of weapons, Saudi soldiers have been inflicted with heavy losses in lives and materiel when they tried to make progress towards sites of the Yemeni army and popular committees in Salu district, military source confirms.

The Yemeni forces were able to take control of new military sites that were under Saudi command.

Despite the significant logistical support for Saudi soldiers and the intense air coverage provided by the fighter jets of the US-backed Saudi coalition, the Yemeni forces continue progressing on the battlefield and gain control of new military sites.
