SPC Condemns Heinous Massacre on School in Nihm
January 10 / Yamanyoon
The Supreme Political Council (SPC) condemned on Tuesday the heinous massacre committed by the US-Saudi aggression’s warplanes on a school in Nihm district of Sana’a governorate.
Initial death toll of the bombarded school today morning, in Nihm district northeast of the capital Sana’a, rose to eight students, schoolgirls and schoolboys, according to residents, rescuers and officials.
In a statement, the SPC expressed its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and the wounded, saying that such inhumane acts will not go unpunished.
The international community must bear responsibility for these crimes committed against the Yemeni people, the statement said.
Other 15 students were critically wounded in the US-backed Saudi brutal attack on Al-Falah elementary school.
Rescue operations were underway to search for possible survivors as many students were still buried under rubble.
The school was flattened to the ground after the airstrikes.
This has been the most recent Saudi American war crime perpetrated against the Yemeni people.
