Civil Society Condemns Saudi Aggression’s Massacres in Taiz
January 14 / Yamanyoon
The Supreme Council for Civil Society Organizations condemned on Saturday massacres committed by the US-backed Saudi aggression against Rubaie and Mokha areas of Taiz governorate.
The massacre resulted in the killing of 18 people and wounded 16 others.
In its statement, the council said that the massacres are part of the criminal acts committed by the Saudi aggression against civilians in the country, and make a decisive evidence of targeting children and women and destroying infrastructure amid a UN and international humiliating silence.
The council demanded the United Nations and the Security Council to hold its legal and humanitarian responsibility to protect civilians and stop the Saudi aggression’s crimes against the Yemeni people.
