Yemeni Forces Foil Saudi Attempt to Advance in Taiz

The Yemeni army and popular committees foiled on Saturday advance attempts by Saudi-paid mercenaries in Al-Jadaid area in Thubab district, Taiz governorate, a military source reported.

Dozens of the mercenaries have been killed and injured during the repelled attempt, source confirmed.

Meanwhile, US-backed Saudi warplanes and Apache helicopters kept flying over the area, while warships waged a bombardment on the area in support of the defeated mercenaries on filed.
