The Yemeni army and popular committees captured on Friday five military sites that belong to Saudi-paid mercenaries in Al-Wazi’aiah area of Taiz governorate, a military official said.
Many mercenaries were killed or wounded during the operation.
These military operations function as a response to the constant war crimes committed by the US-backed Saudi coalition against Yemeni civilians for nearly two years.
