Foreign Ministry Expresses Disappointment Over UNSC Resolution

The official at the foreign ministry expressed disappointment over UN Security Council resolution No. 2342, in a statement obtained by Yamanyoon on Friday.

The official said that at the same time UNSC calls for completing Yemen’s political transition, the UNSC openly ignores the daily barbaric aggression.

The official stated that the UNSC resolution made no mention on the aggression’s military escalation aimingat the Yemeni coasts and cities, as well as targeting innocent civilians in front of the world.

The official reaffirmed that any solution to the aggression on Yemen should be an integrated and comprehensive and ensures the security and sovereignty of Yemen without derogation.
