PM Receives MSF Director

Prime Minister Abdul Aziz Bin Habtoor received on Monday in Sana’a the director of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) / Doctors without Borders, Ghassan Abu Sha’ar.
Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for the MSF activities in Yemen as part of its efforts to provide support and humanitarian assistance in the current difficult conditions, in addition to plans to develop aspects of support due to a major need for assistance in the health sector.
The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude for the support of the health sector provided by MSF and its efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people, as well as preventing the aggravation of the humanitarian situation due to the brutal continuous Saudi American aggression and the imposed siege on Yemen for more than two years.
He stressed that the government will provide all the facilities to ensure the success of MSF’s activities and facilitates for its tasks on ground.
Abu Sha’ar said the organization provides direct support to hospitals in Sana’a, Khamir area in Amran governorate, Hidan area in Sa’ada and Aturbah in Taiz, as well as for hospitals in the governorates of Aden and Abyan.
