The Legal Center for Rights and Development (LCRD) strongly condemned Friday’s Saudi air strike on Kokha’s local market in Yemen’s port city of Hodeidah, resulting in 22 civilians killed and 10 other wounded.
In a statement, the LCRD said that “two years of the Saudi American bombardment have killed over 12,000 Yemenis, mostly civilians.”
It said that the aggression’s air strikes have also destroyed thousands of hospitals, schools, markets and civilian facilities.
The organization called on the United Nations to take its responsibility toward the war crimes being committed against Yemeni civilians, stressing on the need to stop the war as soon as possible.
