SPC expresses its disappointment for UN weak role in Yemen

The Supreme Political Council (SPC) held its regular meeting on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Saleh al-Sammad, the President of the Supreme Political Council.
The meeting discussed developments in the national arena, particularly military and security development in the country.
The meeting saluted the steadfastness of the army and the popular forces and their achievements at various fronts.
The meeting reviewed the losses of the enemy and its mercenaries in Medi district in particular mercenaries who came from the brotherly country of Sudan who were involved in a losing battle against the Yemeni people, in which Sudan has no interest in Yemen.
The SPC called on the Sudanese people and their national forces and the Sudanese parties and organizations to reject and condemn the use of aggression led by Saudi Arabia against Yemen.
The meeting instructed the National Salvation Government to meet the UN envoy for Yemen, Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, who currently visiting Yemen.
The Supreme Political Council expressed its disappointment at the weak role played by the United Nations and the lack of responsibility for the suffering of the Yemeni people as a result of the siege and aggression, the closure of Sana’a International Airport and the suspension of salaries , pointing out that any efforts should be focused on this aspect to prove the credibility of the United Nations and its Special Envoy for Yemen.
