Two Saudi Servicemen Killed in Yemeni Forces Attack

The forces of the Yemeni army and Popular Committees, in retaliatory attack against the Saudi-led coalition, killed two Saudi servicemen in the kingdom’s southern borders.
According to a military source, theYemeni forces killed two Saudi troops in the conflicts occurred in the Saudi Arabia southern border region on Monday.
Meantime, the Yemeni army and Popular Committees on Monday carried out a military operation on Saudi sites in the kingdom’s southwestern province of Asir, a military official told the Sana’a based official Saba News Agency.
The official confirmed that a number of Saudi soldiers were killed and injured in the military operation attack on al-Khazan Hill, and on al-Qanaseen Hill in the Aleb border crossing.
The official added that the artillery of the army and Popular Committees targeted Saudi gatherings in Qulal al-Shaibani area, inflicting several losses on the enemy.
Yemeni army soldiers, backed by fighters from allied Popular Committees, have increased attacks against positions held by Saudi mercenaries in several provinces across the conflict-ridden country in the past two months.
The attacks against Saudi forces come in retaliation for the continued massacre of civilians and destruction of Yemen’s infrastructure by the Saudi-led coalition.
Yemen’s defenseless people have been under massive attacks by the coalition for more than two and half years but Riyadh has reached none of its objectives in Yemen so far.
Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies have been carrying out deadly airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to teh Saudi-backed fugitive former president.
Over 12,000 Yemenis, including thousands of women and children, have lost their lives in the deadly military campaign.
